UKS2 – Class 8 – Amelia, Ruby, Lydia, Yanna and Erin

Good afternoon Cookridge,

We hope you are enjoying your Friday and that it’s not too rainy wherever you are!

Class 8 have been exceptionally busy over the last few weeks, producing some excellent work.

Amelia has produced a wonderful WWII propaganda poster using a range of colours and techniques!

Ruby has written a newspaper article about VE day! Even incorporating a photo of Winston Churchill.

Lydia has been out riding her bike, getting in her daily exercise.

Yanna has produced lots of WWII work and entered a competition to design the mascot for ParalympicsGB!

Finally, Erin has produced a beautiful WWII inspired diary. She created the booklet herself, stained it with tea to age the paper and has written several emotive diary entries from the perspective of a WWII evacuee!
