This week for Geography, UKS2 went on a walk around the local area focusing on creating a sketch map. Whilst we walked around, we identified many of the main features such as the water tower, the fire station, the church, various roads and their names and zebra crossings and added them onto our sketch maps. When we got back to school, we used colours to add on a key to identify the smaller features such as grassy areas and houses.
