UKS2 – Newsletter – 06.01.23

It has been a brilliant first week back in UKS2!

In history this week the children determined the accuracy and reliability of evidence to uncover the mystery of the Anglo-Saxon treasure found at Sutton Hoo.

They looked at primary and secondary sources of history to piece together evidence and determine who the treasure belonged to.

In maths, Miss Barnicoat’s group have been focusing on ordering, comparing and adding fractions. After learning the key aspects of each skill, the children were put to the test with reasoning and problem solving questions! Keep up the hard work guys!

Finally, our learnatics for this week are: Ranu and Millie-Mae (Class 8), Lola and Zack (Class 9) and Will and Sevi (Class 10). You are amazing, well done! Keep up the hard work.

Ooh, ahh, you’re a star!
