UKS2 have had another fun-packed week! From our visit to Golden Acre Park to Science Takeover Day – it has been a roller coaster.
We have had a fantastic Forest School session with UKS2 this week! On Monday, Class 9 visited Golden Acre Park and Adel Dam Nature Reserve. The children were able to observe a plethora of birds from the hides and some were also able to identify them from the noises they were making. We even had a bird land on the hand of Millie! As well as this, we saw frogs laying their spawn and squirrels foraging for nuts! We certainly made the most of the lovely weather before the clouds came.
During the afternoon, Classes 8 and 10 had a Forest School session on the field and the pupils decided to continue their work on Harry Potter from World Book Day. This young wizard really appears to have captured their imagination!
