UKS2 – Newsletter – 17.10.25

It has been another wonderful, action-packed week in UKS2 – take a look at our posts from the week. Also, don’t forget it is teh Halloween disco on Tuesday – tickets can be purchased on Parent Pay.

This week in maths, Miss Boyd’s maths group went to the outdoor classroom to use Now Press Play. We listened and acted out a story following a band who lost their instruments, whilst answering mental maths questions throughout! 

In alternative PE, we had pupils playing table tennis, a Zumba session in the hall and a cross country running session on the school grounds. It was also the final session at The Climbing Lab this week for our first group and they were certainly put to the test. Following some tricky warm-up games in the children’s section they were off to free climb in the adults area. Not content with just completing some simple greens or even oranges, we had pupils attempting some purple and black climbs – they literally have tiny finger grips! There were some fantastic attempts and the instructors once again commented on their determination and resilience. Our pupils have been a credit to themesleves and the school!
