UKS2 – Newsletter – 22.10.2020

It has been a productive last week in UKS2.

On Wednesday, Class 8 & 9 had their science lesson on inheritance. Pupils were challenged with sorting the UKS2 staff and their family members into the correct groups. They used their understanding of inheritance to find similar characteristics in order to group the correct people. From this, they then attempted to build each family tree!

Also this week, UKS2 have been finishing their write based on the Greek Interpreter. Reporting on the events of this mystery story, the children have explored the  formal characteristics of newspaper reports and have produced some exciting and dynamic pieces of writing. Well done everyone!

Finally, our last learnatics of this half term are:  Amari and Nicolo (Class 8), Narmeen and George (Class 9) Darcey and Rayan  (Class 10).

All of the children displayed exemplary behaviour, a positive attitude and going above and beyond for their class community. Well done all of you, keep up the hard work.

Ooh Aah, you’re a star!!
