UKS2 – Newsletter – 27.11.2020

It has been a fun filled week in UKS2. On Monday, UKS2 completed a cross country course in the school grounds. Enjoying the bright and cold day, the children were incredibly resilient and every single pupil completed more than the minimum of two laps. Well done everyone!

This week in English, the children began their next write, influenced by Charles Dickens’ classic novel ‘A Christmas Carol’. Braving the rain, the children used roleplay to delve into the infamous character of Ebeneezer Scrooge in an effort to better understand his motivations and personality. There was some excellent miserly acting on display!

Finally, our UKS2 learnatics for this week are: Olivia and Yahya (Class 8), Riley and Laila (Class 9) and Tilly and Layton (Class 10)

All of the children displayed exemplary behaviour, a positive attitude and going above and beyond for their class community.

Well done all of you, keep up the hard work.

Ooh Ahh… you’re a star!
