UKS2 – Tool Safety and Purpose – Forest School

Pupils in UKS2 have begun their new series of Forest School sessions which will focus on tools. Today was an introductory session where pupils learnt about the different tools we have, their purpose and how to use them accurately and safely. Pupils chose from whittling knives, bow saws, secateurs, loppers, hand drills and bill hooks to discover their uses and begin to think about the item they’d like to create in the weeks to come.
