UKS2 – Year 5 – Science

In part of today’s science lesson, we used magnifying glasses to closely inspect tulips and explore their structure. We carefully identified and observed the male and female reproductive parts of the flower, such as the stamens (anthers and filaments) and the pistil (stigma, style, and ovary). We deepened our understanding of plant reproduction through direct observation and discussion.
