Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School
Today in our wellbeing sessions we looked at feeling proud of ourselves and how this affects our wellbeing. We began with our usual feelings check in circle then moved onto learning a new skill known as frapping. This is the act of crossing and drawing together two ends of string, which have already been pulled tight, in order to lash down or tie together two or more objects. In our case, we used sticks to create picture frames then created memories from the school year using loose parts to put inside. We talked about why these memories gave us positive wellbeing and we were all extremely proud of ourselves for our creations.
