Year 3 had fun playing and singing ‘Pass the pumpkin’ to start off their lesson. They then added not one, not two, but three different patterns on the tuned percussion instruments to accompany the song. We revised how to hold our beaters and how to get the best sound from our instruments. We played a drone pattern, a tremolo pattern and a descending pattern that matched the song.
