Today in maths, Year 6 pupils were pulling together elements of the place value topic by looking at number sequences. Firstly they had to order numbers in either ascending or descending order, then try and identify the rule in which the numbers were increasing or decreasing. Following this, they had to identify values that may come before and after the sequence that they had. Pupils were applying this knowledge to large, decimal and negative numbers.
