Year 3 – Maths – N5 – W.B. 24.11.25

This week in maths, Miss Bourne’s group have been continuing to practise their column addition. They have been working hard to use their knowledge and understanding of place value to show addition of 3 digit numbers using column method. As part of our carousel, they were givensome price tags for possible Christmas presents they would like. They had to add together the cost of the items to find the total. One group practised their addition in a game against a partner. In the game they had to add 3 digit numbers to climb a ladder. The first one to the top won!
