Year 3 – National Apple Day – Forest School

Apple Day celebrations continued this afternoon as Year 3 spent their sessions completing activities all based around apples! After playing a couple of apple games where we learnt about rules and how sticking to them helps create fun and fair games, children had a go at apple bobbing. Following the rules, children bobbed for apples and had a great time. Children could also invent their own games using apples and they had a great time devising rules and ways to win. Finally, children could use sticks as paintbrushes to imagine a brand-new apple variety of different colours, tastes and sizes with some wonderful new species of apples created!
