Year 6 – Class 8/9 – York University Visit

Nineteen Year 6 pupils were lucky enough to be invited to visit York University on Wednesday, along with some pupils from another local school. The aim of the ‘Shine’ scheme is to inspire children to one day attend a university. Pupils had the chance to meet current students, explore the university’s grounds and sit in a lecture hall. They day came to a conclusion with a mini graduation ceremony to celebrate their achievements.
