Youth Music Concert

This afternoon some of our KS2 children went  to the City of Leeds Youth Music Prom Concert at Pudsey Civic Hall. We were all treated to an afternoon of fantastic musical performances from our city’s most talented musicians. We heard the City of Leeds Wind Orchestra who played a mixture of classical melodies and film music. Next the folk group, Roots Alive, got our toes tapping and hands clapping to music from the British Isles and Venezuela. Last but not least, the Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra rocked the hall with hits such as ‘Play that funky music’. All our children listened brilliantly and were hopefully inspired on their own musical journeys!
