Year 3 – Classes 5 & 7 – Maths

Today we recapped our knowledge of properties of 2D and 3D shapes, creating our own resources to support our learning.  We then used this to help build 3D structures with the correct amount of vertices, edges and faces with a variety of resources. Our problem solving skills were really put to the test, as there wasn’t always enough sticks to create the shapes, so we had to use our bodies to represent features of the shapes.
