LKS2 – Dough Balls – Forest School
Linking with their current topic of ‘Europe,’ pupils in LKS2 used their Forest School sessions today to cook a tasty treat from Europe – dough balls with garlic butter. Teams had to split up into sub-groups in order to complete today’s challenge. One sub-team had to be in charge of lighting, growing and maintaining a fire which was hot enough to cook the dough balls whilst the other sub-team made the dough balls and garlic butter following simple recipes. As ever, teams had to communicate effectively, problem solve on the spot and support each other to ensure they had a delicious snack they could eat at the end of the session whilst ensuring there were enough dough balls left for their parent event in the afternoon!
