LKS2 – C7 and C5 – English

In LKS2 in English, the children used the technique of hot-seating to explore the reasons why the Lightspeed family should help Pharaoh Sennapod. In groups, they first generated questions for Pharaoh Sennapod to understand why he needed help. Following this, they generated questions for the Lightspeed family to begin to create a bank of reasons for why the Lightspeed family should help Pharaoh Sennapod. They applied their learning of their grammar goal ‘conjuctions’ to expand and add detail to their answers. The children captured Sennapod’s strict, formal tone and used fantastic acting skills!
