EYFS – Forest School – 13/10/26
This morning in Forest School, pupils in Reception recapped on our two games we began to learn and play last time – ‘Tree Tig’ and ‘Predator and Prey.’ During the games, pupils had to follow a number of rules which included staying within the games area, being honest when caught or tug and stopping when the game was over. We discussed how following the rules made the games fairer and more enjoyable to play. After that, children were challenged to make an Autumnal colour kebab! Pupils were given a skewer and tasked to add as many different coloured and shaped leaves to it with pupils thinking carefully about which colours and shapes to put in which order. Once completed, children finished off their colour kebabs with an item at the top and enjoyed turning them into wands, helicopters, twirlers and playing with them in our Forest School area. A great morning Reception – well done.
