KS1 – Artist Study, Clare Youngs – Art – 20.10.26

Yesterday, KS1 enjoyed exploring the work of artist and illustrator Clare Youngs. We looked closely at her colourful animal artwork and collage designs, noticing how she uses different shapes, patterns, colours and textures to bring her creations to life. We discussed what we liked about her work and how different materials can be combined to create interesting animal pictures. This artist study is helping us to gather ideas and inspiration for our own animal collages after half term. We can’t wait to see the wonderful, imaginative creations the children produce!
