UKS2 – Writing Workshop

Today, three Year 6 pupils went on a writing workshop to Ireland Wood which was led by Andy Craven-Griffiths, a leading children’s author. Our children worked as a group to create their own poem along with other schools from our local area, including Ireland Wood and Iveson. Out of the the 10+ groups, the children had to vote for their favourite poem and Cookridge Primary came a fantastic second place! Well done!
