Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School

Our last session of the year, as voted for by the group last week, had a party theme to it. Pupils experimented with different techniques of roasting marshmallows to create s’mores or just eat straight of the skewer! After popping corn kernels using oil and our popcorn pan,  we all agreed that fresh, hot popcorn was definitely tastier – and far healthier – than popcorn you get at the cinema which led us naturally into a conversation about the impact of freshly cooked food on wellbeing. The group also had a play on the slackline equipment and the tree house, inventing games and taking part in physical exercise; again an important factor in wellbeing.
