Tuesday Group – Forest School

This afternoon children had a lovely time reading ‘Pumpkin Soup’ by Helen Cooper before exploring a pumpkin trail laid out in the Forest School area. Once finding and discussing all the different designs and faces on the pumpkins, pupils began to think about their own designs using natural materials. Using a wide variety of tools safely, which included knives, hand drills and mallets, children created their own pumpkin faces with a range of techniques and skills on show.
