KS1 – Newsletter – 21.7.21

Here it is, the final day! It has been a strange and yet amazing year.

Thanks for all your support during this challenging year. We really appreciate all the work you have done with your children, especially during home learning.

We have had a fun last week, beginning with Sports day. Although it was very warm, the children had great fun joining in all the sporting activities, culminating in a set of races.

We have had fun thinking back over the year and remembering the things that we have done and year two enjoyed writing all about it. We’ve also enjoyed using the ‘Now press play’ and exploring the PSHE and Science activities on there.

You will now be aware of the class that your child will be in next year. They have had the opportunity to meet their new teacher and class mates and to spend some fun time together. All the teachers are really excited to get to know your children properly from September.

As you will all know, Mr Morgan leaves us today to start his new job at Trinity University. Key stage 1 have enjoyed a morning challenging him in a variety of ways to win the Morgan cup! We threw javelins, ate strawberry laces without our hands, had races, put hair into bobbles, skipped, did the hoola and tried to escape with balloons around our legs! We wish him well in his new role and hope that he will come back to visit us soon.
