LKS2 – Donkey Sanctuary

Our third session at the Donkey Sanctuary built on our previous visit where we learned about donkey behaviour, emotions and body language. We discovered how to read a donkey’s mood, approach one safely and put a head collar on. Once fitted, we then learnt how to control our donkey by giving it commands through body language (such as standing in front of it to tell it to stop). We had a thoroughly good time and created a real bond with our donkey so wrote about them in our book at the end of the session.
