LKS2 – Viking Jewellery – Forest School

As we are coming to the end of our Viking topic, we continued to look at Viking daily life and, in particular, jewellery. Pupils mimicked Viking designs to create necklaces, bracelets and rings. One of the hardest challenges however was making the whip cords. Pupils had to cut wool to certain lengths, tie them to sticks, plait them together then tie them off to create bracelets and braids using their knot skills.
