LKS2 – Classes 5 and 7 – Maths

In maths this week, year 4 have been getting back into the swing of mathematical thinking and recapping some of the basic skills from year 3. We have also continued our learning on understanding four digit numbers. Our focus has been on partitioning these numbers in various ways and we have used place value counters alongside a part-whole diagram to gain full understanding.
