UKS2 – Class 8 & 9 – English

Today in English, Year 5 had their second lesson on cohesive devices. Used to join sentences and paragraphs together, cohesive devices can be categorised into several groups. Today, the children were challenged with sorting these words and phrases into those categories. After some extensive discussion, the children were then challenged to put these devices into sentences.
