UKS2 – Class 9 – Computing

Today in computing students were introduced to BBC micro:bit and Scratch. The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces you to how software and hardware work together. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors and many input/output features that, when programmed, let it interact with you and your world. Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation with people from all over the world. Students worked well in pairs and managed to create some amazing animations and stories!
