UKS2 Greek Agora Day!

Today, UKS2 went back in time to Ancient Greece and experienced life in a Greek agora! The children experienced the busy, vibrant and exciting business of the agora by using their Forest School skills to trade goods and services.

Over the course of the day, the children directed their learning and chose from a range of activities. These included: making a fire, cooking bread, making a Greek salad, foraging, making a wreath, making products with clay and whittling wood. Then, the children managed a stall with their products and traded with one another. The children used expert negotiating skills to get the best prices!

In the afternoon, UKS2 planned and started to write a diary entry based on their experiences in the Greek agora. The children were able to use their experience to write a plan with fantastic vocabulary and description.
