UKS2 – Maths – Class 8 & 9

Today, the children in Miss Chambers’ maths class used concrete resources (like Base 10) to identify fraction and decimal equivalents. The children rolled a dice to generate a number between 1 and 9: this created a numerator for a fraction with a denominator of 100. Then, they created this fraction using Base 10. Finally, they drew a place value chart to identify the decimal equivalents.
