Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School

Both Wellbeing Wednesday sessions today focused on preparing for the arrival of Doughnut and Nigel – our new school goats. Before we can think about siting a shed and creating their enclosure, we first had to carry out some maintenance in the area earmarked for the goats. Pupils worked in teams to clear the seemingly never-ending piles of leaves which have accumulated over the past week or two and cleared the site of fallen branches and sticks. We used teamwork, effective communication and resilience to collect the leaves and scoop them into a bag which was then taken to the compost bins to rot down over winter.
