World Book Day Assembly

Our World Book Day kicked off in style with a fantastic assembly led by our wonderful Reading Reps! They introduced the concept of World Book Day, gave some historical context to the day and outlined the numerous activities they’d planned across the day. Then, they hosted a Reading Quiz which pitched a team of pupils against a team of teachers! After three rounds of questions, the pupil team won resulting in their team captain splatting the captain of the teachers’ team with a foam pie – all in the name of reading!
