Year 5 – Class 8 – Forest School and Science

On Tuesday, Class 8 braved the November weather and took to the playground to classify leaves. A mixture of Forest School and Science, the pupils were asked to come up with their own classification grids and, using their oracy skills, justify their choices for grouping. There was some excellent scientific reasoning on display, with some students independently employing a systematic approach to their search (a key principle in our learning objective of ‘Working Scientifically’), well done!
