Year 6 – Class 8/9 – DWF Visit – Group 1 and 2

This week saw Group 1 finish their ‘World of Work’ sessions with a tense courtroom debate. The groups were challenged with debating whether Jaffa Cakes are  indeed a cake, or a biscuit. Working in small teams they analysed the differences between the two sweet treats and were then tasked with persuading a ‘judge’ to side with them. Over the course of the three sessions, the pupils asked fantastic questions, generated superb ideas and behaved impeccably.

On Thursday, Group 2 went for their first session and they were given the chance to explore the office and speak to some solicitors about their work. They are all certainly enthused about the coming sessions in a couple of weeks!
