Core Subject Frameworks

At Cookridge Primary, teachers are given guidance on the teaching sequence of the core subjects – reading, writing and maths. Each year group has a program of study (POS) which allows teachers to follow a sequence of learning which builds on integral basic skills. Teachers use these subject frameworks to plan, using the National Curriculum to give breath of study and context to the provision children receive.
