New Starters (EYFS)- September 2026

Dear Parents/Carers,

Let me take this opportunity to warmly welcome you and your family to Cookridge Primary School. I am delighted that your child will be joining us in September and I am very confident that they will be happy and successful during their time at Cookridge Primary School.

In order to make life easier and to reduce the anxiety of, ‘Which forms do I need to fill out?’, please follow the step-by-step process located on this page. There are also links that navigate you around our website to important information that New Starters might need to know.

Step 2:

Join us on our Induction meeting:

Tuesday 23rd June at 5:30pm (In the School Hall – Access by the bottom play ground – Entrance C). If you are struggling for childcare, please bring your children along to the meeting

Please find the slides from the information meeting on 23rd June These will be released after the information meeting:

Step 3 –

Fill out the form via the Arbor App – (This form needs to be completed before stay and plays on 7th July, otherwise your child  cannot be left on their own for the stay and plays )

  • You should receive an email from School/Arbor over the next month with login details (Check spam/junk folders). Once received, please fill out all sections within your child’s account. From a Health and Safety point of view if this account is not completed before your child starts their transition into school (7th July) we will not be allowed to let your child stay unaccompanied for the stay and plays and if it’s not completed by the time school starts in September, we will have to wait for the account to be populated before your child starts school. If you do not receive the email, please contact the school office Tel No. 01133862500. Alternatively, Mrs Turpie will be available to answer queries at the information meeting on 23rd June.

Step 4:

Sign up to our Teddy Bear’s Picnic and a stay and play session by completing the forms below and submitting it (Blue links).
